thank you for your bug report, the issue is deprecated in Oneiric where
the audio preview feature has been dropped

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  the files are named with .mp3 and are playable by other software such
  as audacious and audacity, but the nautilus browser does not recognize
  the files as mp3s, so it displays a generic textfile icon and will not
  provide preview auditions on a mouse-over
