[Bug 780640] Re: GTK theme resets after several seconds after logging in, but only when the .themes directory exists

Same here. It has been happening for quite some time on Oneiric. As we
are getting closer to release date, I'm getting worried bug doesn't
appear to be on dev radar.

Anything we can do to make sure next version of ubuntu doesn't ship with
this bug in?

Title:
GTK theme resets after several seconds after logging in, but only when
  the .themes directory exists

Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-session

If I create a .themes directory, log in, and watch for several
seconds, the GTK theme goes back to the blocky grey default GTK look.
Many of the icons remain, but most revert back to GTK defaults as
  well.

I didn't know which package this applies to, so I guessed. I hope you
  don't mind.
