Title:
libreoffice printing ignores paper feeder setting
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: libreoffice
My printer has different paper feeders and the appropiate one needs to be selected for printing certain paper types.
Though, after selecting any non-default paper feeder, when reopening the printer properties dialog (using file => print => settings ; ok ; settings), the paper feeder setting is gone. Nevertheless, when not reopening the settings dialog, the
last paper feeder setting is used for printing. The main issue arises, when during this print (which uses the correct paper feeder), the wrong paper format is selected which causes the print to be rendered invalid.
The invalid printing is rendered in the preview the same kind as it gets printed, so I guess the paper format cannot be applied
due to libreoffice believing in the wrong paper feeder setting. (There are PPD UIConstraints that exclude my paper format
and the default feeder to be combined.)
