We have a branch for this now thanks to Juhana Jauhiainen !

Unfortunately we are in UI freeze and this changes the menu structure
(slightly) and adds a string so I would like to ask for a UI freeze
exception for this.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

  User story: You are a software developer. Trying out Ubuntu Software
  Center, you think "How could I get my application in here?" Somehow,
  USC makes this obvious.

  So, as soon as <http://developer.ubuntu.com/myapps> exists, Ubuntu
  Software Center should link to it somewhere. Where exactly that link
  should go, I'm not sure yet. Maybe an unobtrusive place in the lobby
  screen, or maybe an item in the "Help" menu.
