[Bug 859422] Re: libreoffice will not open

 

Caused by a stalled soffice.bin instance.
Workaround: Killing the soffice.bin instance will make the startup work again.

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Steps:
  1. open dash with keyboard
  2. type in a search to find an impresse document
  3. open that document from the dash

  Result:
  The document recovery dialog appears
  Impresse does not open, and neither does any other libreoffice app

  Some process is running though -
