[Bug 859159] Re: gnome-screensaver will not turn off the backlight

 

I can confirm this, but I'm not sure if this is a bug or if that's the
way it's supposed to be. I think you can get the desired effect by
tweaking the "Put display to sleep when inactive for:" in "Power
management".
