Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  after upgrading to the 11.10 beta, whenever I open a terminal, it
  opens with sh as the default shell, even though it should still be
  using bash, as bash is the default for the user according to
  /etc/passwd
