Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: empathy

  Words like fiber are fibre in the spell check. There are other words mostly to do to differences in spelling between UK and US dictionaries. There is a wikipedia article on the differences.
