Title:
0 byte file size via NFS
Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Hi,
Since some recent update in firefox in 10.04 I can not upload files off NFS, I tried it to blog and forum and a few other sites in uploading different images, even tried text files and attached zip file to a php formmail script, all fail.
if I copy the file to local drive then try, it will upload! I dont know why ubuntu FF does not like grabbing a file off a public NFS
share.
if use epithany or galeon it works! If I download firefox from mozilla.org and use that copy, it works, just not with ubuntu copy, tried different and new user profiles, all same results.
using the same NFS server firefox tries and the program says 0 byte file size, I have tried to multiple sites.
Fact that other programs and even firefox from mozilla.org works, rules out any NFS issue.
This problem appeared recently, but last time I tried to do it that I can recall worked was when I last updated my blog about 2 months ago, so a change since then is where the culprit lie.
