[Bug 850904] Re: Non-mirrored displays fails to align monitors, 'required virtual size does not fit available'
The way to fix this is to enable the Multi Monitor desktop via amdccle,
and then use the gnome display manager to enable the second desktop.

Title:
Non-mirrored displays fails to align monitors, 'required virtual size
does not fit available'
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When using the gnome display config, I used to be able to have my
monitors in a non-mirrored display setup. However, now when I select
the non-mirrored variety, I get the following error:
'The selected configuration for displays could not be applied
required virtual size does not fit available size: requested=(2560, 1024), minimum=(320,200), maximum(1280, 1280)'
This has always worked in the past, but now I can't have my dual
monitor setup side-by-side which is clearly a regression.
