Title:
nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_free_chain_with_offset()

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I just rebooted my Maverick installation after 3 months of uptime with
various updates installed along the way, so I do not know exactly what
is causing this. Likely a dupe bug #660342. When I first log in, I
get a Nautilus desktop with all my icons, etc. Shortly thereafter,
typically upon right-clicking on the desktop or something simple,
nautilus will crash and begin spawning processes indefinitely. I was
able to kill it, and trying to launch nautilus again resulted in the
enclosed backtrace. As of right now, I have not been successful in
  getting my nautilus desktop back.
