What version of lightdm?  Can you attach /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log
after this occurs?

  Switch User Account does not require password entry

Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I created a new account on my Oneiric desktop and gave it a password.
  Then when I select Switch User Account from the menu bar, the desktop
  switches to the new user's account without asking for his password.
  This seems like a serious security problem.
