Title:
GThreadPriority levels for SCHED_RR threads are dysfunctional

Status in The "G" Library - GLib:
  Won't Fix
Status in “glib2.0” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Description:	Ubuntu 9.10
  Release:	9.10
  libglib2.0-0:
    Installed: 2.22.3-0ubuntu1

GThreadPriority priority level changes are dysfunctional for SCHED_RR
or SCHED_FIFO threads (anything besides the default SCHED_OTHER) in
gthread-posix because of the problems outlined in the upstream bug
  report:

    https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=604857

See also the prerequisite LP bug 453898 (glib2.0 crashes when
  applications are started with chrt).
