Title:
metacity leaves "dead windows" that float on top of other windows
Status in “metacity” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: metacity
Metacity sometimes leaves "dead windows" that cannot be closed, and
float above all other windows, obscuring some view. See attachment for
a screenshot example (gnome menu dead window that can't be closed or
removed). Killing metacity removes the "dead windows".
