Status in “language-selector” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Installed new language support (Portuguese).
  After the installation finished, tried to select the new language but the item in the list (Brazilian Portuguese) was disabled (only English was enabled).
  Clicked then to uninstall (unchecked) Portuguese language pack, but when the authorization window (password) opened, I just canceled the operation.
