  no wireless connect after resuming from suspend

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  when I attempt to resume my Asus k52f after a suspend the following
  occurs:

  gnome-globalmenu-manager crashes
  using network-manager connect to hidden simply spins and does not connect
  gedits attempts to invoke & crashes then
  report a problem crashes

  the only way I reliably get my wireless net back is to reboot.
