Binary package hint: evolution
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper)
Package: Evolution
Severity: Normal
Version: GNOME2.14.3 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: Crash when double-clicking on WebEx .ics file (open in Calendar)
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
Try to open an attached .ics file from WebEx, choose to open it with the
Calendar (Evolution 2.6.1 with Ubuntu Dapper Drake) and it crashes
Evolution.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Schedule a meeting in WebEx
2. When the meeting email comes to you there will be an attached .ics
file
3. Click on the file and choose to open it in Calendar...BOOM
Actual Results:
Crash Evolution
Expected Results:
Create an appointment. BTW, if you save the file, and use the Import
feature of the Calendar it will create the appointment, but gets
confused by the \n characters. It truncates the text of the meeting
after the first such character
How often does this happen?
Every time
Additional Information:
Using the Evolution version which comes with Ubuntu 6.06 LTS
