[Bug 865023] Re: Odd pages not showing on some docs
I'm on a Windows machine, but I can report the PDFs render well in
Sumatra but they don't in Evince. I've read that Sumatra uses MuPDF
instead of Poppler so it may be the latter's fault.

Title:
Odd pages not showing on some docs
Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I have a PDF copy of a certain textbook, about 800 pages long.
For some reason, the odd-numbered pages on said book appear completely blank on Evince.
The file itself is not damaged, Adobe Reader will show all pages correctly, and even print the book to a PS file. Said file will then display correctly on Evince.
However, when converting back to PDF (using e.g. ps2pdf from the ghostscript package) Evince will once again be unable to display the odd-numbered pages.
I have included a snippet from the book in various formats:
output1.pdf has been cut directly from the PDF book. The second page of the file (corresponding to book page 23) appears blank.
output2.ps is what Adobe Reader printed. The second page displays normally.
output3.pdf is the result of ps2pdf output2.ps. The second page appears once again blank.
