Title:
gnome-terminal high cpu usage on long lines from mysql

Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
When I use ssh and mysql from a command line to run queries, and the
queries have very long lines, when I try to scroll back, gnome-
terminal uses 100% CPU. If I wait long enough, it might come back,
but who knows how long that might be, so I usually have to force quit.
