Title:
Link colors are not affected by style properties
Status in “gnome-themes” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in “gnome-themes-extras” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-themes
Setting style properties for link-color in gtkrc (as exemplified by
the HighContrastInverse theme from gnome-accessibility-themes) does
not alter the color of links in Gnome-applications like Liferea and
Evolution.
Switching to HighContrastInverse does also not affect link colors.
Here are the relevant style properties from
/usr/share/themes/HighContrastInverse/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
GtkWidget::link-color = "#FFFFFF"
GtkWidget::visited-link-color = "#FFCCFF"
I use an up-to-date 64 bit Hardy, but suspect the same issue applies
to other architectures.
