  Notification bubbles for mentions appear either very late or not at
  all

Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I have Gwibber set to only display notification bubbles for Mentions
  and Replies only. Unfortunately when Gwibbers pulls in a new mention
  or reply it does not display a notification bubble as expected and
  very occasionally will show a bubble for a reply from an hour or so
  ago.
