Yes, it is, thanks for the info.
In fact it’s much wider than unity as the title of the other bug tells ; anything depending on OpenGL will be broken.

Bug description:
Removing fglrx through jockey leaves plenty of broken alternatives (list attached).
This notably breaks both unity-compiz and unity-qt (both xsession-errors attached).
Reinstalling libgl1-mesa-glx fixes the problem.
