Title:
system bell missing in gnome terminal
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Neither "echo -e '\a'" nor any of the usual actions produce any sound
in GNOME terminal. Please return the system bell or provide an
adequate substitution. No sound is not an option! ("beep" makes a
noise, so pcspkr and alsmaixer are fine.)
