Jayakrishnan, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu
better. Does this issue occur for you in all programs tried or only
LibreOffice? Have you setup any keyboard shortcuts?

Incomplete
Bug description:
when i type the back slash key on the keyboard i get < while i have a
different key for this < symbol. I do not know how this configuration
can be removed. These keys are working as it is on the keyboard on
Windows 7. This problem which I am facing now is only in linux. Please
advise
