[Bug 861790] Re: choosing to switch users leads to dark screen, no options
>From what I can tell it's probably an artifact from upgrading. The non
admin user account is actually still trying to call GDM to switch user,
and GDM isn't available.
I can successfully from my main user to the other user, but not from the
other user to the main user which is the one that ran the upgrade.

Title:
choosing to switch users leads to dark screen, no options
Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Using Gnome (3?) in 11.10, I choose Switch User from my name in the
top right. Screen fades to black, except for my name and the time.
Nothing happens. I press spacebar, and get a chance to log back in.
So... it's behaving has a screen lock; not an opportunity to switch
users.
