Hrmm..  I can't reproduce.  When I close it via the window's X button on
the top left, the window closes, but the backup continues (you can still
see the icon in the panel).

Can you give further reproduction steps?  Are you sure it's cancelling
and not just hiding?

Bug description:
  Reproducing:

  1. Start backup
  2. Click app indicator and choose first menu item. An status dialog appears.
  3. Close window with appropriate button in window header.

  What should happen: window should be closed but backup shouldn't stop

  What happens actually: status window is closed and backup process
  stops.
