Title:
gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in cond_setting_changed()
Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Shortly after start-up.
The Ubuntu icon menu was acting strange. Searching for the letters in "terminal" produced no results for a bit.
Launched terminal.
Searched for 'settings' and ran the settings app.
cd'd around in the terminal for awhile and launching nano, but editing nothing.
Crash reporter notified me of a crash within a minute or two.
I may or may not have closed the settings app.
All done from a VirtualBox 4.1.4 r74291 virtual machine. The guest
additions were installed at 2 power cycles ago, judged to be faulty,
and uninstalled 1 power cycle ago.
Other useful details should be in the crash report that the crash
reporter should've automatically attached to this.
