I add here the complete sequence steps i do to trying to generate previous reported issue:
 
first i use unity-2d i run gnome-language-selector it open dialog
1) i click on install/remove languages
2) i select english lang to add and confirm 
3) system ask me for passwd ok
4) it install english related packages ok
5) close the gnome-language-selector ok
6) reopen it chhose to remove english just added lang
7) now works good

So, i cannot reproduce this issue... still have chinese related lang
listed that i cannot remove:

  i cannot send this bug report using the launchpad automatic filled
  form, i get wrong data form after sending from launchpad (i am behind
  proxy and there is always problem sending crash-report) so i am
  sending this manually

  I cannot remove afar language the language selector crash...
