Bug description:
  tried to install gnome-3 ppa in ubuntu 11.04 and didn't work. moreover
  the cpu was constantly at 190% and the temperature was high as well.
  then i tried to uninstall it using the purge command, but it didn't
  work properly.

  While downgrading, when the aptitude gave the output: gnome-control-
  center-data recommends gnome-control-center, and asked for y/n, i
  typed: - gnome-control-center-data.
