[Bug 871115] [NEW] network connection very slow with msi 7673 internal NIC

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Using stock MSI 7673 board with the following setup:

Quad-core i5
16 GB DDR3 ram
Radeon 5770 GFX card
MSI 7673 Mobo with stock NIC

Running stock natty, installed today.

What I expect to happen: To be able to download from the ubuntu archives
faster than 20 KB/s (My university has 70MB down and 50 MB up).

What happens: Packages download at 20 kb/s, and the fastest download
rate I have gotten is 100 KB/s

I would like help fixing this please.
