Title:
  In Ubuntu 10.04 change password under "About Me" hangs

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  When using the GUI of "About Me" to change my password the mouse
  curser just spins and nothing happens.  However when going to the
  terminal to change the password, upon the 2nd entry of the new
  password the error is "new password must be different from old one".
  Unable to change password at this time now.
