Title:
Unable to create ad-hoc wireless network on intel 4965 AGN
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I've not been able to successfully create a ad-hoc wifi network ever
since I upgraded to Oneiric pre-alpha. Whenever I try to create one,
it connects for some time and then starts asking passphrase on the
host machine instead of guest as soon as some other device tries to
connect. It doesn't accept any passphrase and disconnects after
repeated attempts.
lspci output says:
0b:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN [Kedron] Network Connection (rev 61)
It works fine on my Natty install on the same machine.
