[Bug 359975] Re: evince sometimes yield error "Error printing: Too many failed attempts" (Printing requires keeping the mouse moving in the window of the app)
Francesco, if you have still such a problem and are able to reproduce
it, please report a new bug, telling which version of Ubuntu you are
using and assign it to GTK+2.0 if you are using Natty or older or to
GTK+3.0 if you are using Oneiric.

Bug description:
After couple (two, three or four) successful printouts, evince stops printing and shows following error message:
"Error printing: Too many failed attempts"
Once the error is triggered, restart of cupsys does not help, whereas
logout and login again allows couple more printouts from evince to
succeed. It is interesting that the error is apparently triggered by
printing single pages from a multipage PDF document.
The bug is pretty reminicent of bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/145278 ,
but I am not sure they are related.
Here is the snippet of log file /var/log/cups/error_log done with "LogLevel debug" in cupsd.conf
