Title:
Network Proxy settings prevents Evolution to send/receive emails
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: evolution
If in Network Proxy is set any option different from "Direct Internet connection", Evolution is not able to use pop or smtp server to send/receive emails (I've tested this with Squid proxy).
Selecting "direct internet connection..." allows Evolution to work normally.
I was not able to find out any other setting in Evolution to workaround this bug.
Furthermore, Evolution seems the only application affected.
