[Bug 729917] Re: No WindowButtons&ButtonIcons Tab
That configuration dialog is deprecated in GNOME3 and Oneiric so closing
the bug, feel free to open new bugs about other issues you might find
though

Title:
No WindowButtons&ButtonIcons Tab
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
After almost a year since the release of Ubuntu 10.04:
1. still no window button layout in Theme tab of "Appearance Preferences"
(requires simple interface for gconf-editor, for example:
list of buttons { menu, minimize, maximize, close }
list of window layout
arrows to swap elements from one list to the other
)
2. buttons have icons and text besides buttons options removed from "Appearance Preferences"
(requires re-enable)
It is sad when the lack of simple interfaces prevent entry-level users
to configure the highly flexible GNOME desktop.
