Title:
Feature request: add a "search" box in the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog
Status in GNOME Control Center:
Expired
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
There are roughly 75 keyboard shortcut functions available to be
configured. Finding the right one can be time consuming and
frustrating. It would be nice if there was a SEARCH box where the
user could type a fragment of a function name, and the dialog would
filter just those functions which match. This is essentially the
*exact* same idea as is already present in "Add to panel" dialog.
