Title:
evolution search bar shows typed data from other applications on
startup
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I start evolution, and then switch to another window like a web
browser. While I'm typing something into the other window, evolution
grabs the focus, and some of the typed data appears in the evolution
search bar for several seconds. Then, the search bar is cleared as
evolution finishes starting. The problem is that from this point
forward, this same text appears in the search bar for several seconds
EVERY time I start evolution. This has been a security issue for me,
as on one occasion I was typing a password in another window while
evolution started - a portion of an old password now appears in the
search bar of evolution each and every time I start evolution.
