  usb wont open opens archive manager and so does trash

Status in “gnome-disk-utility” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Could not open "New Volume" Archive type not supported. when i plug
  usb stick in .and my extra internal drives wont mount on desktop have
  to go to disk utility please please fix this
