Thank you for your bug report, that version is a git snapshot since
upstream didn't roll tarballs since the start of the year, you should
open different bugs about the different issues you get though

  Rhythmbox 2.90.1 VERY unstable

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  This version of Rhythmbox is very unstable compared to all previous
  versions I have been using. It crashes when deleting a podcast,
  freezes when playing music and drags entire system down, video
  podcasts do not show any video but only play sound.
