[Bug 871931] Re: "ALT + circumflex" can be set in the keybinding settings and conflict with unity
Not sure what is the right way to fix those issues, it's likely to make
g-c-c aware of the unity keybindings and have them integrated in the
system settings dialog

Bug description:
Ubuntu 11.10
"ALT + circumflex" can be mapped in the keyboard settings despite
being reserved for the new ALT + tab extended functionality, making it
execute two functions at once with severe side effects (GUI freeze,
but keys are still responsive -> key smashing during freeze results in
possible destruction of user data).
