Title:
keyboard layouts - no default layout for system
Status in “compiz” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
In System->Preferences->Keyboard, Layouts tab, if you have more than one layout no option to choose default layout for the system (no radio button like in karmik or any other option), and if you are typing in other language, not English and open new app, suppose terminal, so layout for the new app will be last typed layout. I have tried to change trow gconf-editor (/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/general/defaultGroup) - no results.
"Separate layout for each window" works.
