[Bug 872574] Re: Firefox 7 "freezes" for about 20 s in Lucid 32bit

 

Hi friends,

I think I solved the problem by renaming/deleting the folder
/home/$USER/.mozilla/firefox and restarting FF again

Strangely there was another folder in /home/$USER/ named ".2.mozilla".
Only deleting this one did not solve the problem.

Bug description:
  Hello,

  after some time FF7 32bit in Ubuntu 10.04 freezes (lighting dimms
  down, no reaction on anything) but window can be minimized etc. After
  about 20 s anything works fine. It repeads any hour or so.
