  apport-gtk crashed with SIGSEGV in pkgPolicy::GetCandidateVer()

Status in “apport” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apport

  Simply rebooted the machine, and then tried to click the "problem
  button, exclamation mark" in the notification area. On the attempt to
  report THAT error, apport-gtk crashed. (The previous error was a crash
  in update-manager).
