  0. Start gedit.
  1. choose Edit -> Preferences 
  2. choose Plugins tab
  3. select Python Console plugin (already enabled in a previous invocation of gedit) 
  4. click Preferences button in the plugin tab
  5. gedit crashes (reproducible)
