Title:
Running "empathy --start-hidden" at startup doesn't start it hidden
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: empathy
Using Ubuntu 10.10 + Empathy 2.32.0.
Go to System -> Preferences -> Applications at startup.
Add one called Empathy, edit it to execute "empathy --start-hidden" and activate it.
Close your session and open it again. It will show the empathy window, but it should start hiddenly.
This didn't happen in earlier versions.
Interesting note 1:
Close Empathy, open a terminal and write: empathy --start-hidden. It will start hidden :)
Open another terminal and write the same. It will pop up :(
Compare with interesting note 2:
Close Empathy, press Alt+F2 and write: empathy --start-hidden. It will start hidden :)
Press Alt+F2 again and execute again the same command. It will do nothing :)
