Title:
file-roller reports access denied on SMB share
Status in “file-roller” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
When attempting to create a new archive on an SMB share, or extract an
existing archive to an SMB share, file-roller reports insufficient
permissions.
Permissions are correct, Nautilus can happily copy files to and from
the SMB share. file-roller can also open archives without issue.
mount:
//server/c$ on /media/server type cifs (rw,mand)
ls -l:
drwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 2009-10-05 17:54 server
Running Ubuntu Intrepid, File Roller 2.24.1.
