  Upon starting "terminal"...an error message says," "The child process
  exited normally with status 0" in gnome-terminal.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

  1.) Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meekat i386
  2.) snaptic package 0.63.1
  3.) ..gnome-terminal to open normally so it CAN BE USED TO DOWNLOAD FILES/PACKAGES!!
  4.)Suddenly gnome-terminal produced error mesages when it opens, (it opens two windows upon clicking on "terminal"     icon)....."child process exited normally wih staus 0 in the first terminal window, and in the second terminal window, it produces an error message saying,
  "child process exited normally with status 2.
