Title:
evince shows incorrect font enconding for pdf tahoma fonts

Status in “poppler” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Tried both evince and okular , they both showing incorrect font
encoding for substitution of Arial Narrow and Tahoma fonts.

File is cyrilic, without embedded fonts.

Evince converts fonts to existing ones, but chooses incorrect
  encoding, thus corrupting the output.

When installed ttf fonts from windows (tahoma and arial narrow), file
  shows up corectly

  ubuntu 10.10 fully updated
  libpoppler 0.14.3-0ubuntu1.1
