Title:
Rhythmbox Crossfade sits on 2 music URLs. Doesn't fade 1st URL out to
fade into the 2nd.
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Happens on both computers (side-by-side).
Ubuntu Studio v10.04 64 bit. Rhythmbox 0.12.8.
-and- Ubuntu Desktop v10.04 32 bit. Rhythmbox 0.12.8.
- Open Rhythmbox. Under EDIT, PREFERENCES, check "Use crossfading
backend (requires restart)", "Crossfade Duration (Seconds)" set to 60
seconds. "Network Buffer Size (kB)" set to 1024.
- PROBLEM:
Rhythmbox, Library, Radio, pick a radio station URL.
Start station URL, wait a few seconds, forward arrow to the next station URL.
1 "fades" into next URL, but gets stuck playing BOTH URL's. 1st URL does NOT fade out.
Both computers worked perfect, with those settings on Ubuntu Desktop v9.04 32 bit.
,,,Hence why I submitted Bug Report.
I do Advanced Audio Production, 2 Dell tower, 2.8 Dual-Core Pents,
both 4 GB RAM.
