Title:
invalid partition table leaves nautilus with many unremovable spurious
  devices

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

If you plug in an USB stick with an invalid partiton table that
contains an entry with a partition that links to is self as its
successor, nautilus (and the Places -> Removable Media menu) display
many devices for this patition which won't go away if you remove the
stick and can't be removed manually.

You should be able to reproduce this by dd'ing the attached file to
the beginning of a USB stick.
